LIFE DRAWING Life drawing sessions run every Monday in the gallery from 10am to 12.30pm and Wednesday from 7.30 to 9.30pm. Sessions are untutored and aimed at those without the need for guidance - no booking necessary, pay as you attend £9 (WOA members £8) Contact the gallery for more details 01993 850137 or gallery@westoxarts.org Life drawing sessions will stop for the summer break. The last Monday session will be on 12th July and Wednesday will be on 14th July. The sessions will restart on 13th and 15th September. |

Thamyse String Quartet Sunday 3 October at 5pm Bampton Church The Thamyse Quartet will be performing an afternoon benefit concert of music for West Ox Arts. The programme is: Haydn: Opus 33 No.1 Beethoven Opus 18 No. 2 Elgar: Quartet in E minor Opus 83. The Quartet’s repertoire centres on the 18th and 19th century masters, but also includes 20th century works. The musicians are Regan Crowley, Frances Barlow, Audrey Hemming (all members of the BBC Symphony Orchestra) and Sara Pacey (past member of Covent Garden Opera House Orchestra).
