West Ox Arts is situated in a lovely, spacious gallery on the first floor of the Grade II listed Town Hall in Bampton, a picturesque Cotswold village about five miles from Witney. The gallery holds over twelve exhibitions a year; recent shows have been on still life painting, sculpture, glass, photography and felt. West Ox Arts is an association of artists and art enthusiasts, many of whom take part in exhibitions alongside artists invited from the wider region. Talks, workshops and theatre productions are also organised. The gallery has a shop that sells reasonably priced, handmade jewellery, ceramics, glassware and cards, and a coffee shop opposite the gallery sells refreshments.
